2017 y\u0131l\u0131 itibariyle Cihangir\u2019deki yeni mek\u00e2n\u0131nda ticari bir galeri format\u0131ndan uzakla\u015farak kurulu\u015f misyonuna yak\u0131n dinamik bir yap\u0131 geli\u015ftirmeyi hedeflemi\u015ftir. Daire Sanat, k\u00fcrat\u00f6ryal ve sanat\u00e7\u0131lar\u0131n sergileme pratiklerine olan yakla\u015f\u0131mlar\u0131n\u0131 sunan sergiler, ba\u011f\u0131ms\u0131z projeler ve i\u015f birlikleri, sanat ve sosyok\u00fclt\u00fcrel konular\u0131 ele alan konu\u015fma ve etkinlikler geli\u015ftirerek program\u0131na devam etmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n
Daire Sanat, 2019 Kas\u0131m ay\u0131 itibari ile Cihangir\u2019de bulunan sergi mek\u00e2n\u0131nda A\u00e7\u0131k At\u00f6lye Sanat\u00e7\u0131 Program\u0131<\/strong>‘n\u0131 y\u00fcr\u00fctmeye ba\u015flad\u0131. Programa kat\u0131lan sanat\u00e7\u0131, \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131, projesini geli\u015ftirmek ve olgunla\u015ft\u0131rmak i\u00e7in \u00fc\u00e7 ayl\u0131k bir s\u00fcre zarf\u0131nda, kendi at\u00f6lye ortam\u0131na d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcrd\u00fc\u011f\u00fc galeri mek\u00e2n\u0131nda s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fcr. In the first two years of its establishment, it focused on the thematic group exhibitions organized by curators and artist-curators and the visibility of young artists. As of 2010, Daire Sanat assumed a commercial gallery format in order to increase its support to young artists and to contribute to their art careers by presenting their “first solo exhibitions”. In 2010, it moved to Tophane Bo\u011fazkesen Street and continued with the representation of up and coming artists.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Among the artists who took part in Daire Sanat events with their curatorial works or solo exhibitions starting from 2008 are G\u00fcl Ilgaz, Genco G\u00fclan, \u0130smet Do\u011fan, Mehmet Ali Uysal, Volkan Aslan, Sena Ba\u015f\u00f6z, Ardan \u00d6zmeno\u011flu, El\u00e7in Ekinci, Anna Heidenhain, Anita Bacic, F\u0131rat Neziro\u011flu, \u0130rem Tok, Mustafa Pancar, Evrim Kavcar, Hera B\u00fcy\u00fckta\u015f\u00e7\u0131yan, Balca Ergener, Didem \u00d6zbek, \u0130z \u00d6ztat, \u0130brahim Ko\u00e7, Turan Aksoy, Hayal \u0130ncedo\u011fan, Peter Tzanev, Evren Erol, Volkan K\u0131z\u0131ltun\u00e7, Orhan Cem \u00c7etin, Cemre Ye\u015fil, \u00d6zge Engin\u00f6z, Osman Bozkurt, Perform Istanbul, and CANAN.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n As of 2017, Daire has aimed to develop a dynamic structure similar to its founding mission by moving away from a commercial gallery format in its new location in Cihangir. Daire Sanat continued its program by developing exhibitions which present the approaches of curators and artists to exhibition practices, independent projects and collaborations, speeches and activities on art and sociocultural issues.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n As of November 2019, Daire Sanat transformed the exhibition venue in Cihangir into Open Studio Artist Programme<\/strong>. The artists participating in the program are able to continue his\/her works in the venue, which she\/he has transformed into her own studio environment, for a period of three months required to complete their projects. The studios are open to visiting and the artists are present two days a week in order to preserve the dynamics of the exhibition program that the gallery has continued for twelve years. On the days when the studio is open to visitors, they will have the opportunity both to get to know the artists and to witness the project process.\u00a0 The participant artists will complete the programme with an event to be held in the venue at the end of the project.
